Overview

Editorial synthesis with inline references and a source ledger when citations are available.

The consumer changelog added Google Street View plus public-transit and walking directions, dropped-pin addresses, and location sharing in Maps. It also enabled podcast downloads through the iTunes application over Wi-Fi or cellular, repaired scheduled Mail fetching and wide HTML formatting, improved Safari stability, and continued work on call reliability and visual-voicemail audio.[1]

Navigation and typing gained smaller controls: pressing Home from any Home screen returned to the first page, and Keyboard settings could disable automatic correction. Apple’s security bulletin records additional fixes across graphics and TIFF parsing, PPTP encryption, Office documents, passcode enforcement, locked-screen message privacy, Safari, and WebKit. The local November 21 date differs by one day from Apple’s archived security index, which lists November 20.[2][3][4]
