Release identity and boundary

The February 6 developer milestone shipped under the visible name iOS 6.1.1 Beta 1 and was reported as build 10B311. A contemporaneous page also said the seed lacked an expiration date.[1][2]

Selected milestone record

Apple-attributed notes grouped navigation and mapping improvements for Japan. A next-day security report said the seed still permitted evasi0n to run.[3][4]

Five days later, Apple said this beta line would receive a different version number. The unrelated Public 6.1.1 was an iPhone 4S emergency update, so this archive preserves the historical beta label and links its continuation to 6.1.3 Beta 2.[5][6]
