Overview

Editorial synthesis with inline references and a source ledger when citations are available.

iOS 8.2 added the Apple Watch companion app and paired-device Activity view on iPhone 5 and later, while expanding Health units, workout visualization, privacy controls, and large-dataset reliability.[1][2]

The release also improved stability, hearing-aid connectivity, media and calendar behavior, and Exchange interoperability, and its security bulletin covers telephony, iCloud Keychain, system privilege, activation, and TLS weaknesses.[3][4][5]
