Overview

Editorial synthesis with inline references and a source ledger when citations are available.

Release overview

macOS Sequoia 15.0 centered its public release on Continuity and everyday productivity: iPhone Mirroring put an iPhone interface on the Mac, while native tiling added fast side-by-side and corner layouts. [1]Safari, Passwords, Messages, Maps, Notes, Photos, and video-conferencing workflows also received substantial additions.[2]

Administration and development

For managed fleets, Sequoia introduced declarative software-update management, controls for Safari extensions and storage devices, and secure deployment of managed executables and scripts. [3]The SDK notes also document compatibility changes and fixes across frameworks such as Maps, RealityKit, StoreKit, and SwiftUI.[4]
